Our Services

Type Rating, Line Training

Airlines worldwide have required Co-pilots to demonstrate at least a first Airline experience on specific aircraft type such as on B 737, A 320 or ATR 72. The purpose of this Airline requirement is to minimize the risk of a potential additional training for non-experimented Pilots. Today, Pilots Job opportunities between “just” a Type Rated Pilot and a Rated Pilot having at least a “very small” airline operational experience is huge! The predicted lack of Pilots in the next few years drive us at Asian Air Services to develop an innovative optional training called: B 737, A 320 & ATR 72 Airline Orientated Training Course.

The purpose of these new training module is to provide pilots who obtained the Type Rating on B 737 ATR 72 or A 320 with the option to credit as Pilot First Officer an Airline Orientated Training Course. This Enhanced Airline Cadet Pilot Course offers a full set of regular Airline Training experiences such as emergency and safety training, generic airline SOP’s, crew briefing, passengers and cargo operational aspects, cold and hot weather operations, day to day regular airline operations.

What Pilot benefits?

The Cadet Pilot will benefit from highly experimented Airline Pilots’ feedback on various operational aspects and will increase drastically their flying skills in a “day to day” Airline operations approach. The price comparison with a “regular” 100, 250, 300, 500 or 1000 hours Line Training is huge and the “potentially” low cost negative Line Training must be taken into consideration too. This optional module will maximize Cadet Pilot opportunities to find a Co-Pilot Job and to pass with success an Airline Pilot Assessment.
Note: this optional program is also available for pilots that already obtained the B 737 NG Type Rating in another training center.

Aircraft's Operating Lease and Finance Lease

Aian Air Services arranges aircraft operating leases for overseas aircraft operators and other aircraft because in addition to being an excellent investment the aircraft owner is provided a tax efficient vehicle where considerable depreciation benefits are provided.

Operating leases are also called "leases with a residual value". This means that the Lessor will retain the aircraft title and residual value risk at the end of the lease term. This unique structure enables investors to enjoy the tax depreciation provided by such aircraft investment, while providing operators the flexibility to structure their aircraft assets off-balance sheet at lower rents than finance leases.

Aircrafts may be resold after the lease term expires. The pre-owned aircraft market is a well-developed and reputable marketplace. Aircrafts are required to remain in good condition by the regulator and the manufacturer and are kept in such condition by strict maintenance requirements written into lease agreements. This allows for transparent pricing of the aircraft's residual value.

Asian Air Services offers a wide range of services to airlines and aircraft owners, including direct operating leases, sale and leaseback facilities and third party asset management. The company also provides comprehensive aircraft remarketing, structured finance and technical management services to airlines, banks and other investors.

The operating lease is the service offered by Asian Air Services. All leases are on a short or long-term basis, with airlines taking responsibility for the operation, maintenance and insurance of the aircraft during this lease term. Asian Air Services aircraft purchased directly from the manufacturers are offered with a baseline specification reflecting preferred market demand. With specific notice prior to delivery from the manufacturers, the specifications for new aircraft can be changed to meet individual airline requirements. In the case of used aircraft, Asian Air Services will also endeavour to meet as closely as possible the requirements of the next lessee.
